  • Overview

    The C&A Engineer performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Interfaces with user community to understand their security needs and implements procedures to accommodate them. Ensures that user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security. May require familiarity with commercial cloud environments, domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordination of the gathering of artifacts using government-mandated, network assessment tools
    • Coordination and submittal of RMF packages for each program
    • Quantitative and qualitative risk assessment of multiple network enclaves and commercial cloud environments
    • Providing updates to the customer via Weekly and Monthly Status Reporting for all programs that fall under the cognizance of our customer
    • Controlling and continuous monitoring of the computing and commercial cloud environments

    Required Experience/Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree and six (6) years of applicable experience, or eight (8) years applicable experience of which should include six (4) years specialized experience
    • Hands on experience with RMF and/or eMASS
    • Must be knowledgeable with DoD DIACAP processes

    Preferred Experience/Qualifications

    • Hands on experience with DOD PPSM Registry and RMF POA&Ms
    • Hands on experience with commercial cloud environments
    • Familiarity with commercial cloud envirnoments

    Special Requirements/Security Clearance

    • DOD Secret clearance required
