  • Overview

    The Program Analyst will provide research, analysis, and recommendations for the ARNG G6 support to the Program Execution Guidance Board, Acquisition Planning Board, supplemental funding, Training Support System Program and Program Objective Memorandum actions and execution of ARNG key strategic governance and policy issues through the integration of information from four major databases. Assists in the development of standard operating procedures for the Information Technology Approval System (ITAS) and suggests improvements to existing practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the office. Integrates lessons learned and best practices to optimize ITAS with available resources.


    • Coordinates ITAS changes with the 50 states, 4 territories, and the District of Columbia.
    • Researches and analyzes all factors, direct and indirect, that contribute to program success, compares various alternatives, and recommends courses of actions that could be taken to produce acceptable results.
    • Provides ITAS application sustainment training to all 50 states, 3 territories, and the District of Columbia.
    • Provides the ITAS and APMS operators from 50 states and 3 territories and the District of Columbia with guidance and direction in using best practices in maintaining APMS records, requesting ITAS waivers, and improving Mission Decision Execution Program (MDEP) utilization decisions.
    • Provides input to TMT taskers in the areas of training, budgeting, finance, and general governance.

    Required Experience/Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • Experienced with policies, directives, and regulations for possible impact on the ARNG
    • Previous experience with data analytics, submitted for consistency with previous estimates, current level of program operations, and anticipated changes

    Preferred Experience/Qualifications

    • National Guard experience desired
    • Master’s Degree desired

    Special Requirements/Security Clearance

    • Secret security clearance required
    • Travel – Up to 10%
