Senior Instructor will deliver/support all resident instruction in support of the Signal/Communications Instruction.
Support all coordinating activities in building and delivering Signal/Communications Instruction for Training Support Services.
Served within the Army within the AOC/CMF of 25U or 25B (or other services equivalent functional area) and have a detailed understanding and experience in tactical communications, preferably in the light infantry or special operations field.
Be familiar with military FM, HF, UHF/VHF, TACSAT/SATCOM, and other data transmission systems; specifically, SINCGARS radios, Thales AN/PRC-148s (MBITR), Harris AN/PRC-117s and AN/PRC-150s, and the use of Toughbook computers/palm pilots for data transmission.
Understand antenna theory, wave propagation, and communications security equipment and procedures, and working knowledge of C4ISR operations and equipment.
Special Requirements/Security Clearance
Minimum DOD Secret clearance required
While performing the duties of this job, the employee should be capable of performing their assigned work moving distances up to 3 kilometers (KM) over uneven ground and may have to remain standing for extended periods of time in order to support training.
Additionally, the employee must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds in scenario and during set-up/tear down as a member of administrative work teams and carrying all associated data collection devices and equipment props in support of the training environment.
