    • Overview

    Metova, a By Light company, is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Business Analyst to join a fully distributed Agile team. This position will perform under little supervision. The Cyber Business Analyst will work on a software development Agile scrum team charged with gathering requirements, decomposing new features into user stories and supporting the design of cyber range environments worldwide. Responsibilities include: cyber training support (instruction/end user), requirements gathering, requirements analysis, architecture and design, testing and validation of operational features, and research on cyber operational concepts for inclusion into the training platform.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for requirements analysis of features for a cyber range training platform
    • Requirements Analysis and Design
      • Assist in generating designs which comply with requirements specifications
      • Assist in determining effort and time that will be required to resolve tasks
    • Documentation
      • Internal – Requirements decomposition from Epics, User Stories and Tasks
      • Process – Generate comprehensible documentation for reference by other developers, engineers, etc. that complies with company standards
      • External – Produce customer cyber operational training documentation
      • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Training / Testing
      • Performs operational end-user training and conducting tests to ensure platform meets the functional requirements
      • Support cyber user engagements on platform capabilities and use

    Required Experience/Qualifications

    • Experience in Requirements analysis and decomposition
    • Experience on Agile development teams (with Jira, Confluence or similar tools)
    • Understanding of Networking, Linux Systems, Windows, Testing, Agile Software Development/Software Development Life Cycle
    • Solid understanding of cybersecurity training needs and operations (tools, processes and techniques in cyber)

    Preferred Experience/Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering)

    Special Requirements/Security Clearance

    • Travel may be required, up to 10%
    • Current security clearance preferred, but must be clearable up to a TS/SCI level
